Stretching out in front of the Orangerie, this garden is made up of large collectors' trees planted on a grass lawn, as its name "Le Jardin Vert" (the Green Garden) suggests.

It was designed by Bernard Palissy.

Around the garden several bushes are planted in groves: Japanese meloukhias, boxwood, laurel, yews, calycanthus, cherry trees, cfhimonanthus.
Garlands of wisteria and chervil grace the facade of the Orangerie.
