Rousseau’s happy moments at Chenonceau

As part of the 2012 Rousseau’s Year celebrations, marking the three hundredth anniversary of his birth, the château of Chenonceau is presenting a special visit, devoted to «young» Rousseau’s daily life, from Saturday 12^th May to Sunday 11^th November.

Encounters in the gardens on 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd of June

Gardening workshop for young gardeners, and discover in pictures the animals living in the château’s gardens and park.

The château’s restaurants are open to welcome you from 12^th March. Thanks to the new pergola at the Orangerie, our gourmet restaurant, you may now have lunch while admiring the Green Garden designed by Bernard Palissy. The tea room is open every day from 3 pm to 5 pm. The Self-Service restaurant is located in the former Royal Stables in the Dômes building.
